Mr. O'Neill Models The Latest Headgear

Still with the small Finished Objects. A hat this time, a gift to match a scarf made for Christmas. It's modeled here at the Anchorage library by Eugene O'Neill.  The lumpy head look is due to Mr. O's lumpy bronze hairdo. Should look smoother without metal hair.

It's Autobahn from Twist Collective in Blue Moon's Gaea, the Black Bird colorway. The cabled ribs weren't quite as straightforward as I initially imagined; some frogging and cussing were involved.  Still, now that I understand the pattern, I may make another one or two because it is a really cool design. Apologies for the dim lighting, but it's winter in Anchorage, y'know?
